CardGraph Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
CardGraph (“the app”) is made by DJ House. Your network is your private data: it lives on your devices and in your own iCloud, and we can’t see it.
1. Your network data
- Cards, people, companies, notes and wiki pages you scan or enter are stored on your device and synced between your devices through iCloud (your private database and iCloud Drive) under your Apple Account. The developer has no access to them.
- If you choose to sync to an Obsidian folder in Settings, the app writes only to the folder you pick.
2. Card reading and Apple Intelligence
- Text recognition runs on your device.
- Organizing card fields, inferring org charts, summaries and questions use Apple Intelligence, either on device or on Apple’s Private Cloud Compute. According to Apple, Private Cloud Compute uses your data only to fulfill that request, does not store it, and Apple cannot access it. None of this data is sent to the developer.
- Card photos are kept or discarded according to your setting; kept photos also stay on your devices and in your iCloud.
3. Digital business cards (data you publish)
- Only when you tap “Publish” are the contents of that card (and the photo you choose) uploaded to our server (Cloudflare) and made public at cardgraph.djhousetw.com, visible to anyone with the link or QR code.
- No account is needed. The app creates an anonymous identifier (stored in your iCloud Keychain) used only to verify that you may update or remove your own cards.
- You can unpublish or delete a card in the app at any time; it is deleted from the server immediately.
- When you scan someone else’s digital card, the app fetches that public card from the server.
4. Advertising
The app is free and shows full-screen ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers and approximate location to serve and measure ads; where required, the app asks for your consent first and asks through iOS App Tracking Transparency. Your network data is never shared with advertisers. See Google’s advertising policies. After you buy “Remove Ads”, no ads are loaded.
5. Purchases
Payments are handled by Apple; we never receive your payment details.
6. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
